How to Retrieve or Reset Login and Password for the DenizBank Mobile App

Many users face the issue of not remembering their login or password for the MobilDeniz app or the DenizBank website. This can happen for various reasons: they didn’t set up the app when opening the account, forgot to note down their login and/or password, or now need to log in from a new phone or access the website. The login can be various types of data — a combination of name and surname, Turkish Tax ID number (TIN), kimlik number, etc. Therefore, if you’re unsure of your login, it’s easier to simply reset both your login and password. DenizBank provides an option to recover your password by calling customer support, which will be explained below.

First, some comments on customer support:

  • Russian-language customer service is available on business days from 9 AM to 6 PM. Outside these hours, support is available in English and Turkish.
  • If you call during business hours and don’t hear Russian, connect to English support and ask to be transferred to a Russian-speaking agent.
  • Only the account or card holder is allowed to speak with the operator. The bank reserves the right to block access to the mobile app and website if the call is made by a third party providing the customer’s data (according to DenizBank’s support team).
  • Before calling, make sure you have access to the email address linked to your account, and be ready to talk on speakerphone. During the call, you may need to log in using information the operator sends via email or push notifications, which may work in the app even if you’re not logged in.
  • Also, have your card ready to provide the necessary information to the operator.

  1. Select your preferred language.
  2. Inform the operator that you are having trouble accessing the application.
  3. You will receive a notification, and a pop-up window will appear in the app asking for confirmation — click the “Approve” button.
    3.1 If you do not have access to the mobile app, an SMS will be sent to you with a code. Once the voice menu prompts you to enter the code, use the dial pad to enter the numbers.
  4. The operator will ask you to enter your PIN code. When prompted by the voice menu, use the dial pad to input your PIN.
  5. The operator will then ask you to enter the CVV code (on the back of your card) and the card’s expiration date (on the front). Enter these when prompted using the dial pad.
  6. You will be provided with your login and receive a new password via SMS. That’s it — your DenizBank password has been successfully recovered.

If a PIN code has not yet been set:

  1. Open the MobilDeniz app.
  2. From the bottom menu, select ACCOUNT/CARD.
  3. Go to the Cards section.
  4. Select the card you want to manage.
  5. Tap the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
  6. From the dropdown menu, choose Set Password.
  7. Enter your new PIN in the “NEW PASSWORD” and “CONFIRM NEW PASSWORD” fields.

PIN code requirements:

  • Must be 4 digits long
  • Cannot be in the range from 1900 to 2100
  • Avoid easily guessed numbers (e.g., your birth date)
  • Do not use repeating or sequential numbers like 3456 or 3333
  • Avoid symmetrical numbers like 8128
  • Do not use two identical digits next to each other (e.g., 8117)

Click “Set” to save your new PIN.
If you see a confirmation screen saying “SUCCESSFUL”, your PIN has been successfully set.
